1. What Advoke CV is
Advoke CV is a formatting and editing tool for resumes and curriculum vitae. It provides templates, section controls, a live preview, and client-side export to PDF, plain text, and JSON. All processing happens in your browser.
2. What Advoke CV is not
To avoid misunderstandings, Advoke CV does not provide:
- AI writing. The editor does not generate, rewrite, or suggest text. Every word in your resume is entered by you.
- ATS score simulation. Advoke CV does not produce a numeric score predicting how an applicant tracking system will read your resume. The score would be speculative and would give a false sense of precision.
- Recruitment advice tailored to your situation. The guides and articles are educational and general. They are not personalised advice.
- Cloud storage or sync. Drafts are stored in your browser only. They do not sync across devices, and they are not backed up by Advoke CV.
- Import of DOCX, PDF, or third-party resume formats. Reliable extraction cannot be guaranteed in a fully static environment.
- Automatic submission to job boards or employers. You export a file and submit it yourself.
3. No guarantee of outcomes
Advoke CV provides tools and educational content. It does not guarantee that using the site will result in interviews, offers, or employment. Hiring outcomes depend on many factors outside the site's control, including the role, the market, and the specific hiring team. Advoke CV also does not guarantee that a resume built with a template labelled ATS-friendly will pass a particular applicant tracking system.
4. Illustrative examples
Every resume example on Advoke CV is original illustrative content created for demonstration. Names, employers, schools, metrics, and credentials in the examples are not real. Do not copy them as factual claims about yourself. Any similarity to a real person or organisation is coincidental.
5. Third-party names
Any mention of third-party products, services, or companies on Advoke CV is for identification and educational purposes only. It does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation. Company and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
6. External links
Advoke CV may link to external resources in articles and guides. Advoke CV is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites.
7. Accuracy of educational content
Guides, articles, and blog posts are written with care but may contain errors or may become outdated. Employment conventions vary by region and industry, and hiring practices change. Where a claim is factual, Advoke CV aims to source it. Readers should verify important claims against primary sources.
8. Data handling
See the Privacy Policy and Data Handling pages for full details on how drafts are stored and cleared.
9. Limitation of liability
Advoke CV is provided without warranty. For a full limitation of liability, see the Terms of Use.
